Tales In Skin
I've always had an appreciation for uniqueness; things that are perceived as different. Sometimes our differences are bold, obvious and in plain sight. Other times, they are subtle, private and we keep them for ourselves. Be they bombastically visible or inconspicuously invisible, there is always a story attached. Sometimes it's a mundane exercise in daily life, other times it's the product of joy, trauma, coolness or anything else in the spectrum of human emotions and experiences.

Shortly after I turned 40, I had a stupid, boring accident which resulted in surgery. That surgery resulted in a very visible and notable scar on my left elbow. I immediately leaned into it and learned to appreciate the aesthetic in no time.

This project was created to celebrate these differences, their owners and the stories they tell. Nobody should have to hide the tales told to the world around them by what's written in their skin.
